The Summer Will Come Review

The Summer Will Come by Soulla Christodoulou

The book was a picturesque, colorful and gripping read. So eloquently written, the story pulled me into the Island of Cyprus in the 1950’s and kept my attention all the way to the gray streets of London.

Soulla’s very skilled at what she does. She artfully weaves you through the lives of two Greek families that I felt apart of and found myself rooting for.

The families face huge challenges and struggles, all while missing their homeland’s traditions and culture. Having gone through volatile events, a deeply proud and passionate people find that life can be warm and unimaginably comfortable again.

So excited for more from Soulla.
